Best Friend

I  honestly desire, Lord
To spend my time with you
Just hang out and talk
About all the things I do.

I want to share with you my feelings
And declare to you my trust.
I long to have you close to me
Your friendship is a must.

I want our conversations
To go two ways not one.
I want to learn to listen
To my best friend, God's Son.

Jesus is the best friend you could ever have.
