If joy comes in the morning
We must endure the night.
When morning breaks eternal
Everything will be made right.

If joy comes in the morning
What wonders will be mine.
If I've endured the weeping
And stood the test of time.

If joy comes in the morning
Every storm He will calm
The darkest time you'll ever see
Is just before the dawn.
