No Greater Gift

No greater deed could anyone do
Than when Jesus gave His life for me and for you
He died that day on an old rugged cross
He knew if He didn't, you and I would be lost.

Redemption, He provided for all man kind
But He didn't stop just to cover your sins and mine
An advocate with the Father He is for us
Every time we're in need we can feel His sweet touch.

No greater gift could anyone give
But to lay down his life that others could live
That's the kind of Jesus that I serve and love
When I'm in trouble, He's pleading with God above.
