Chapter 3

1. NOW these were the sons of David, which were born unto him in Hebron; the firstborn Amnon, of A-hin-o-am the Jez-reel-i-tess; the second Daniel, of Abigail the Car-mel-i-tess:
2. The third, Absalom the son of Ma-a-chah the daughter of Tal-mai king of Geshur: the fourth, Ad-o-ni-jah the son of Haggith:
3. The fifth, Sheph-a-ti-ah of A-bi-tal: the sixth, Ith-re-am by Eglah his wife.
4. These six were born unto him in Hebron; and there he reigned seven years and six months: and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years.
5. And these were born unto him in Jerusalem; Shim-e-a, and Sho-bab, and Nathan, and Solomon, four, of Bath-shu-a the daughter of Am-mi-el:
6. Ibhar also, and E-li-sha-ma, and E-liph-e-let,
7. And Nogah, and Neph-eg, and Ja-phi-a.
8. And E-li-sha-ma, and E-li-a-da, and E-liph-e-let, nine.
9. These were all the sons of David, beside the sons of the concubines, and Tamar their sister.
10. And Solomon's son was Re-ho-bo-am, A-bi-a his son, Asa his son, Je-hosh-a-phat his son,
11. Joram his son, A-ha-zi-ah his son, Joash his son,
12. Am-a-zi-ah his son, Az-a-ri-ah his son, Jotham his son,
13. Ahaz his son, Hez-e-ki-ah his son, Ma-nas-seh his son,
14. Amon his son, Josiah his son.
15. And the sons of Josiah were, the firstborn Jo-ha-nan, the second Je-hoi-a-kim, the third Zed-e-ki-ah, the fourth Shallum.
16. And the sons of Je-hoi-a-kim: Jec-o-ni-ah his son, Zed-e-ki-ah his son.
17. And the sons of Jec-o-ni-ah; Assir, Sa-la-thi-el his son,
18. Mal-chi-ram also, and Pe-dai-ah, and Shen-a-zar, Jec-a-mi-ah, Ho-sha-ma, and Ned-a-bi-ah
19. And the sons of Pe-dai-ah were, Ze-rub-ba-bel, and Shim-e-i: and the sons of Zerubbabel; Me-shul-lam, and Hananiah, and She-lo-mith their sister:
20. And Ha-shu-bah, and Ohel, and Ber-e-chi-ah, and Has-a-di-ah, Ju-shab-hes-ed, five.
21. And the sons of Hananiah; Pel-a-ti-ah, and Je-sai-ah: the sons of Re-phai-ah, the sons of Arnan, the sons of Obadiah, the sons of Shech-a-ni-ah.
22. And the sons of Shech-a-ni-ah; Shem-ai-ah: and the sons of Shemaiah; Hattush, and I-ge-al, and Ba-ri-ah, and Ne-a-ri-ah, and Sha-phat, six.
23. And the sons of Ne-a-ri-ah; El-i-o-e-nai, and Hez-e-ki-ah, and Az-ri-kam, three.
24. And the sons of El-i-o-e-nai were, Ho-dai-ah, and E-li-ash-ib, and Pe-lai-ah, and Akkub, and Jo-ha-nan, and Da-lai-ah, and A-na-ni, seven.
