Such
a long cold winter
Chilled to the bone.
I waited for summer
For winter to be gone.
So
tired of gloomy weather
The rain and the snow.
Out walking in the park
Is where I want to go.
Now
I can open up the window
Let in some fresh air.
See the world from outside
Not from the window there.
The
sun's brightly shining
So warm on my skin.
Now complain about the heat
And wish for winter again.
Come
on now, admit it.
I'm not the only one that complains
about the cold and then the heat.
